Rules of Play

The decision of The Jungle management is final and binding, these ‘Rules of Play’ are provided to ensure that you and your party guests have a wonderful party whilst maintaining ‘health and safety’ standards and compliance with The Jungle conditions of entry.

Be Careful
  • Children must be accompanied by a ratio of 1:5 responsible adult/guardians for the duration of the party at The Jungle.
  • The admission of party guests can only take place when The Jungle is operationally prepared. This will be no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the party and will be at the discretion of The Jungle’s staff.
  • The Jungle does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for the behaviour and wellbeing of the child in their care, and must maintain supervision of their children at all times.
  • The Jungle’s team supervise the play equipment and help maximise your children’s enjoyment from the play experience. They are not however a replacement for parental supervision.
  • Age restrictions vary dependant on the play zone our visitors are using and have been put in place for the safety and enjoyment of all children.
  • Parents/carers attending the party with additional children not invited to the party and included in your costs must be paid for at reception.
  • Only food and drink, which has been purchased at The Jungle, may be consumed on the premises. Food and drink (including crisps, sweets and chewing gum) are not allowed on the play equipment.
  • Jewellery, belts, watches and other items with sharp edges should not be worn when playing on equipment.
  • Children must remove shoes before playing on equipment; socks must be worn at all times (socks can be purchased at reception). Adults move remove shoes before entering the equipment; socks must be worn at all times.
  • We recommend to parents that children wear long sleeves and trousers (slides can cause friction burns).
  • Please ensure that you limit the use of recording equipment (camera/phone etc) to only the children in your care.
  • For hygiene reasons 'Face Paints' must not be worn on the frame. You will be required to remove and face paints before attending the party.
  • Parents/Guardians should note that whilst every consideration has been given for the safety of children using the play centre The Jungle cannot be held responsible for accidents, which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment.
  • We would ask our customers to report any incidents, no matter how minor, to a member of the crew before leaving the play centre. These will be logged and are an important part of ongoing safety audits.
  • It is not practical to list all conditions of entry, if in doubt please ask a member of staff. All 'management' decisions are final and non-negotiable.
  • Age and height restrictions apply: maximum age 11 years, maximum height (150cm 4’10”) whichever comes first. The supervision of children remains the responsibility of the parents and carers attending the party at all times.
